Please join us for this first time ever young girls workshop. This workshop is targeting middle school and high girls, their moms, friends and science teachers to attend this fabulous hands-on workshop. This exciting and educational hands-on workshop will demonstrate just how fun science and engineering really can be. It is presented by Celeste Baine. Celeste Baine is an engineer herself; but she also is an author of numerous books and well known presenter for educators all over the United States. Lunch will also be provided along with some wonderful materials & kits that the girls can take home with them to experiment with their mothers!
This workshop is absolutely free and is being sponsored by the two Centers of Excellence for Materials & Process Development (Edmonds/ Everett Community Colleges) and Marine Manufacturing (Skagit Valley College)
For any teacher that has 5 girls that attend the workshop, we will be giving them a Teaching Engineering Made Easy Resource Kit valued at $134.00
