A Partnership Between Edmonds and Everett Community Colleges

TRIAD II

Triad II is a three–year Department of Labor grant awarded to Everett Community College and its partners. This grant is designed to assist participants in gaining or advancing their knowledge in the field of Advanced Manufacturing.

Triad II offers grant money for participants pursuing skill enhancement classes or certificate/degree programs in Advanced Manufacturing. In many cases, this grant will cover the costs of tuition and books for students enrolled in manufacturing related programs at Everett or Edmonds Community Colleges.

Everett Community College, in collaboration with Edmonds Community College, offers a number of pathways toward technical careers. The Advanced Manufacturing Technology programs offer two-year Associate degrees or shorter term certificates to students seeking entry into or career advancement in the advanced manufacturing sector of the job market. Students are prepared for careers in areas such as computer controlled machining, welding and fabrication, production planning and control, project management, warehousing, supply chain logistics, composites design/repair, CAD based design technology, or a position coordinating all these activities. Students already working in manufacturing can select certain electives and a study path in consultation with their employers to better prepare them for lead and supervisory positions.
